Power-Ranger-Cosplay-Concept#1

This is for a cosplay I wanna make of my character, I have to make this vest, gonna either use, a rubber sheet about and make the armor like an inch thick. 

The things sticking out would be like strings to tight the armor around my legs, unless I decide to put velcros on it so that the armor parts can stick. 

Note this is my first cosplay, which I will end up going to my first ever comic con at least I hope.
